Spell checking in iOS 6

It seems like Apple has finally disabled spell checking by default in iOS 6. That can be good and bad. Most iOS apps have not mentioned in their code that they require spell checking by default as spell checkng used to be enabled by default prior to iOS 6 but now when you use the dame apps im iOS 6, spell checking won’t work! Is is good or bad? You decide.
